Dr. Amanda Figliuzzi was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Cleveland State University.
Following completion of her undergraduate degree, Dr. Figliuzzi attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine where she received a comprehensive medical education to prepare her for surgical residency.
After graduation, Dr. Amanda and her husband, Adam, moved to Tucson, Arizona to continue her education. Dr. Figliuzzi spent three years gaining hands-on experience in a wide variety of surgical and clinical techniques with Tucson Medical Center. During her residency she also gave birth to her daughter (Nora) and son (Abel).
After completing residency, her family of five, including her rescue dog (Tyson), moved to Texas to provide the best care for the residents of southeast Texas with The Foot and Ankle Specialists of Corpus Christi. Dr. Figliuzzi enjoys every aspect of Podiatry ranging from pediatrics to ankle fractures.
